Tara Manuel is currently the Executive Director of the Treasury Board Office within the Nova Scotia Department of Finance and Treasury Board. She joined the Nova Scotia Public Service in 2006, following a career in the private sector where she held various financial management roles.
Tara provides strategic leadership in corporate planning and the development and management of processes and materials that support effective fiscal planning for government. Throughout her career in the public service, she has also collaborated on a number of special projects across government.
Tara holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and was appointed to the Teachers’ Pension Plan Trustee Inc. Board in November 2025.
