You need to apply for your pension
If you are eligible and plan to retire, you must contact us and request a retirement package. You should apply for your pension within the school year in which you plan to retire. You should apply at least three months prior to your planned retirement date. If you live outside Canada, the retirement application forms are available on our website.
Retirement application packages
Your retirement application package will include your pension estimate and a number of forms. It is important that you complete and sign all forms in the application package. Once you have completed and signed your forms, you must return each form to the organization noted on the form. Obtaining a pension estimate
We can provide you with a pension estimate if you are within two years of your eligible retirement date. If you are not within the two year retirement threshold, you may use the Pension Projection Tool on the My Retirement Plan website to estimate how much your pension could be.
